Meet Dr. Tiffany
Hi! I’m Dr. Tiffany– I’m so happy you are here! I am the owner and physical therapist at GOAL Physical Therapy and Wellness. Can I be honest about something? I opened my practice because I was frustrated and burned out working a decade in the traditional health care model. I saw first hand, day in and day out, how frustrated my patients were being bounced around from doctor to doctor trying to find the answers they desperately needed. Going to providers, only to be seen one-on-one for 15-20 minutes before being passed off or left to their own devices. Sadly, the current healthcare system operates in a revolving door pattern with little to no answers our patients need. There are many reasons for this, but that’s a story for another day. I have always wanted to provide quality one-on-one care for each and every patient, to be able to truly hear their story, see their frustrations, and have the time and freedom to dig deeper and figure out the root cause of my patients’ issues. Without figuring out the root cause, we are left spinning wheels and symptom-chasing, which can be exhausting and disappointing.
I opened GOAL Physical Therapy and Wellness in 2020 to be able to do just that, without being bound to the restrictions of our current medical system. Pelvic health is an underserved specialty in which even our medical providers are not screening and referring for very often. Therefore, many women are left trying to find their own help. That’s where I come in! I am truly passionate about treating women’s pelvic health dysfunction and I am on a mission to normalize conversation surrounding pelvic health! It’s not taboo and dysfunction here is extremely common! Working in pelvic health is extremely challenging and complex, yet so rewarding to see my patients achieve goals they never thought possible–like not peeing their pants when they sneeze, not having painful intercourse, not feeling like their insides are going to fall out.
I have personally struggled with my own pelvic floor dysfunction most of my life, since childhood. I didn’t know I had pelvic floor dysfunction until my late 20’s because I never learned about it and I assumed it was all normal. To my surprise, as I started to explore the pelvic health realm, I learned that my symptoms were actually not normal and there was something I could do to help them go away! Pelvic floor physical therapy! If this sounds like you, I encourage you to seek out the help you deserve and I’d be honored to be a part of your healing journey.
Tiffany at GOAL PT is amazing to work with! She's incredibly knowledgeable about pelvic floor health and is so comforting. She's been able to help me ease the aches and pains of pregnancy which has eased my mind through this journey. I'll definitely continue working with Tiffany after baby arrives to rehabilitate my pelvic floor and be able to safely return to activity. Thanks Tiffany!!" -- C.H.
